The unsightly 1940s one-car garage addition
to the turn of the century barn was removed
along with derelict milking stalls below. New
structural footings were installed and siding
replaced on the lower level making room for
four cars and other equipment. The barn has
a new 100-amp electrical service.
Windows original to the house were restored
and installed on the barn. The number of original
barn windows was doubled for more natural light.
A traditional laid stone retaining wall was
added for the car park. Original walkway paving
stones were uncovered and relaid.
